Public Health Interest Groups Home

Welcome Students

In the 2010/11 academic year, there were 16 active student-run Public Health Interest Groups (PHIGs) from 17 medical faculties in Canada. PHPC has created this space in partnership with the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) so that PHIGs can share ideas and experiences nationally, enhance ties with Public Health and Preventive Medicine specialists and residents, as well as plan and market their local events.

You can navigate through this site to learn more about the PHIGs, find information on grants available, or see/post upcoming events in the calendar on this page.
