The External Communications and Advocacy Committee (ECAC) is responsible for ensuring that appropriate research and attention is considered in the development of advocacy statements and activities. The Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Competencies Working Group, with the support of the Public Health Agency of Canada, produced a set of Minimum Competencies for MOHs in Canada, available here: "A set of Minimum Competencies for Medical Officers of Health in Canada".
